However, some Sheepadoodles, as with OES do not change, and will stay black and white. The coat will continue to change to the fully mature coat, at around 2-3 years old. After the puppy coat, you will start to see a lighter grey coming in at about 6-7 months, usually starting around the back of the legs, across the shoulders then gradually turning a lighter grey. ![]() They go through a few coat changes as they mature. Sheepadoodles, (and Olde English Sheepdogs) are born with the black and white puppy coat (with the exception of the brindles).
